I actually agree with him because of my own experience growing up from kindergarten through my junior year in high school. (IN MY SENIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL I WENT TO A CHURCH PRIVATE SCHOOL) which actually made sure I would go to college which wasn't necessarily true before this.
Public school was originally all about training factory workers to be docile and to follow directions and to basically (die if necessary on dangerous machines) for their rich employers.
This is basically the idea of Public education in the U.S. and likely in Europe as well.
However, there are really only two classes of people on earth:
Slaves and Masters.
So, the real question is: "Which one are you?"
By the way it is in some ways possible to be both at the same time in different situations in our lives.
But, the real point is which one do you consciously choose to be in your life? A Slave or a Master?
In my family we mostly have owned our own businesses down through time since about 1580. So, if you own your own business you belong to yourself and you only choose the customers that you want to serve. This is a realistic assessment of what it is actually like to be a business owner. You do business only with people who you want to do business with. Therefore you are your own master.
Are all the other people who don't own their own businesses slaves?
That is a question only you can answer. It's different for each of us in our lives.
You might say: "I don't want to be a master or a slave!"
I have said this too. However, I definitely choose not to be a slave to anyone. That was always my choice.
So, what you do in life and how you live your life is always a choice whether you believe you have a choice or not, you actually do. You just have to make the choice to be:
"MASTER OF YOUR OWN SHIP AND ENGINEER AND CREATOR OF YOUR OWN DESTINY!"
THIS IS DEFINITELY AN AMERICAN WAY OF THINKING.
