Imagine you were in Damascus right now and your whole world is turning upside down just like when the U.S. left Afghanistan during the Biden Administration. Assad is gone for all intents and purposes wherever he is inside or outside of Syria.
The latest I heard is that Syrian heavy armor and cannons and troops went into Iraq likely where they will be safest for now and to keep these weapons out of the hands of the rebel troops as much as possible. So, I think Assad is gone for now. Is there hope he will ever come back? I think it is very unlikely now but all things are also possible given Russia and Iran and Iraq and Turkey etc.
So, aren't you glad you don't live in Damascus Syria right now looking forward to nothing but terrorists like the Taliban or worse taking over everything in Damascus?
This is a good place to start. Everything affects everything else and I could see that even Trump is disturbed by all the changes in the world. Most of what he wanted to do likely is not possible now in any way, shape or form. Though there are many people who think they can change our government the likelihood is that they can't really without really harming the public's lives and even causing a lot of deaths in the process by doing stupid things because the people coming in have no idea on earth what they are doing.
Trump's picks are unbelievably incompetent and we will be lucky if the whole system doesn't collapse under the weight of his terrible choices for his Cabinet.
All of Congress wonders what planet Trump is on picking the people he did and many or even most won't pass inspection in Congress, especially through the Senate Republicans and Democrats.
So, Trump's presidency is bound to Frustrate him in ways a 78 year old man doesn't deal with well. Can he even survive the first 6 months at his age trying to lead this country?
I don't know the answer to this question fully and neither do you.
However, being able to answer this question might decide whether the U.S. Government survives Trump or not.
