I think the CEO killer is a professional hit man and possibly simultaneously a Secret agent who has already erased whatever normal life he has as an identity. In other words I think legally he is dead like Tom Cruise in Knight and Day(2010) even though he is still alive. This is a common thing among professional hit men or women who are ex-military. So, I think he will never be found.
