If I start with Global Climate changes and I need look no further than 4 million murres to illustrate my point. One year it got too warm and 4 million birds died of starvation. It affected I guess whatever they eat and 4 million of one species died in one year. Another example is Monarch butterflies in California. Locations where they should be hundreds of thousands of Monarch butterflies this year only had 1000 to 2000 Monarchs. Did they go somewhere else? Or are they going extinct? I don't know the answer to this question. And it is also possible that the Murres are going extinct.
The other issue is Bird Flu. If it keeps on like it is it will likely kill more people worldwide than Covid did just like the Spanish Flu killed around 50 million people from 1918 to 1920 and more American soldiers died of the Spanish Flu than died in World War I by the way.
If you study how much Covid changed in the world (in all ways) it is also likely the Bird Flu will change the world even more this time.
What is the cause of Covid and Bird flu now? Mostly it's species extinction like potentially the murres and the Monarch Butterfly and all the other extinctions of species around the world now.
In other words mankind has so thrown nature out of balance that this same nature is killing mankind more and more through things like Covid and Bird Flu and Storms and droughts and Hurricanes and other weather events worldwide.
It's true that at least in the U.S. people aren't dying that much in weather events. However, if you actually study what happens to people whose houses wash away and whose land washes away in these events you start to see how many people's lives are destroyed completely within 5 years of these events. Businesses don't reopen because they didn't have insurance. Houses don't get rebuilt because insurance wasn't available to them at any price.
So, when you start to study all these events you see that things in some ways are going to get a lot worse, especially for people who aren't rich enough to survive these events.
Rich people often can just move somewhere not destroyed by these weather events but poorer people just slowly starve and die a lot in many of these events especially older people without home insurance.
All this creates chain reactions of financial crisis and government upheavals worldwide also.
Then you add to this the quixotic and illogical nature of a president like Trump and he could be the tipping point for the whole world moving into the next Great Recession or Great Depression.
This is the great danger I foresee right now is Trump being the tipping point into another Great Depression for the whole world and possibly World war III.
This is what a Murres bird looks like that lives in Alaska:
