The waves this week are supposed to Peak Saturday with 25 foot waves

The tallest waves I have ever seen where I live is 35 foot waves and watched someone try to surf these waves off of a Jet ski. The Jet ski pulls the surfer fast enough to catch the wave and then gets out of the way and then rescues the surfer before they die on the rocks on this beach.
 
However, this is so dangerous I'm not sure they would let people do this anymore. However, I have seen a surfer do this and surf the wave successfully and survive with the help of a jet Ski and someone driving it and rescuing them before they hit the rocks on shore.


When this happens the seaweed lands on people's porches across the paved road from the beach and sand often covers the paved road there too. As the sea rises over time likely eventually those houses either won't be there anymore or else they will have to build some kind of cement sea wall in front of their homes for times when this happens (of 10 to 35 foot waves hitting the shore there.


These 25 foot waves will mostly hit from San Francisco South into Southern California.
