Why is this?
It's the Butterfly effect in some ways where if you went back in time and took one butterfly out of the sky and put it somewhere else that the changes created by doing that would change the entire future of life on earth.
In the same way every interaction you have with a living being, (not just humans) will potentially change every aspect of the future as well.
I didn't really understand life at this level as a young person but as someone now being 76 years old this makes complete sense to me.
For example, a friend of mine who passed away in 2006 gave me a saying to take to heart in 1994 which was "There are no problems only opportunities!" I decided he was right because thinking of problems as real makes a person freeze up and give up often in their lives.
I was going through a very difficult divorce at the time and didn't see a useful or good way forward before he gave me this statement and I took it to heart.
The point is there is almost no chance that I would be alive now without him talking to me and giving me this statement regarding my life and for that matter everyone's lives.
So, I have my friend in many ways along with the lady I married in 1995 to thank for saving my life then when everything seemed hopeless and bleak and I was around 46 then. He later was one of my two best men at my wedding in Yosemite National Park in December of 1995. Unfortunately he passed away at age 62 in 2006. He was a friend I made in Sunday School at my parents church in Los Angeles that they ran then in 1954 when I was 6 years old.
The point is little changes that people make in your life or changes you make in other people's lives change time and space (at least for them and you) potentially for a lifetime.
By God's Grace
Another example of the changes people have made to life on earth is slash and burn techniques and deforestation to build homes and fences made of wood.
Though this started 25,000 years ago when people first began to farm likely in the Fertile Crescent in the Middle East they began burning their fields after they harvested because this allowed the nutrients to return to the soil faster.
However, the smoke from these fires and from accidentally or on purpose burning or building homes or cities or ships with these trees over time cause deforestation and this also has caused changes in the weather now too.
So, here we are 25,000 years later using slash and burn techniques and now people are now dying almost every day from the climate changes partly brought about from the techniques used for farming and building houses and cities and factories.
One way to look at this is our ancestors through ignorance may have created human extinction starting 25,000 years ago through slash and burn technques and through deforestation.
Everything you think or do changes everything in the future for you and for those around you, your friends and relatives as well as your immediate families.
