Understanding that much of Christianity in the U.S. was a form of racism against anyone who wasn't white

Of course it is very useful to say that I grew up in the 1950s in a family that was very white and our church was obviously racist. In other words the Black people in our church could not go to a white church, they had to have their own black churches worldwide too.

However, I think you would had to have grown up in the 1950s to fully appreciate how all this was. My parents were ministers of the white Los Angeles Church and the three of us often would go to what was called "The Love Star" Group of black people in Los Angeles.

Of course at some point in the 1970s it became illegal federally to have non-integrated churches in the U.S. so all this changed a lot then. But, in the 1950s this was how it really was.

As I grew up especially in the 1950s and 1960s I began to realize how most protestant Christian religions tended to be to the right and racist against any other race rather than white and this was how they kept many folks down and not able to better financially support themselves or educate themselves.

Because if you are educated by White People who are telling you that you are not as good as white people, it's just like Trump now saying things that aren't true.

If you say something that isn't true long enough to people subconsciously they start to actually believe it.

So, part of my spiritual evolution was to realize the church my parents raised me in was racist and I started to search for something else by my late teens and early 20s.

This eventually led to me leaving the church I was raised in simply because I was not a racist and wasn't interested in thinking like that. So, I came to see racism as a form of ignorance more than anything else because white people would always be a minority among the races of the world mostly because other races tend to have more children than white families now do.

Also, I saw how the white race likely could easily cease to exist entirely during the period we now live in from 2000 to 2100 AD.

So, it wasn't logical to think this way because being racist actually might get you killed in the world the way it really is, especially if you were a white racist.

So, unless the white people intend to nuke everyone else off the planet (which isn't very likely at all) they likely will be no more at some point during this century just because of Air Travel and ship travel alone.

But, I also wanted to have compassion for all beings in the universe which led me to studying things like Buddhism.

And I found that Tibetan Buddhism because it reminded me a lot of Native American religions combined with the best parts of Christianity I found suited my mind stream the best.

So, for me, all the suffering of myself and others I witnessed first hand led me to become more of a Mystical Christian Tibetan Buddhist more than anything else.

However, I still believe in God and angels and have experiences with them all the time.

In Tibetan Buddhism angels are called Dakas if they are male or Dakinis if they are female by the way.

By God's Grace
