If egg prices suddenly dropped on their own (very unlikely) you would be less worried about millions of people dying around the world from bird flu. An infectious disease specialist said to me in November that if it become air born for humans then more than 50 million people likely will die from it worldwide and that it would be much much worse than Covid if it goes air born.
So, egg prices right now are the least of our worries. It's better not to get something worldwide like the Spanish flu that killed 50 million people here on earth between 1918 and 1920 including here in the U.S.
