This movie touched a chord inside of me and many other people. I think for me I have met many people who didn't survive their lives or even survive physically or mentally to age 30. So, this movie is about how a person can deal with some really horrific stuff in their lives and still move on and have a more normal life.
The world we live in is a very difficult place to survive for most people and many fall by the wayside. So, watching this movie gives me hope for all mankind in many different ways. It's about never giving up and it's being loyal to your children and finding a way to keep them alive no matter what happens in this life.
It's about NEVER GIVING UP no matter how bad things seem at the time. I highly recommend it but remember this was made in 1996 two years after Pulp Fiction(1994) and Samuel Jackson co-starred in both films.
So, it was made 30 years ago as of 2026 next year.
