Why is Truth almost always stranger than Fiction?

Good Example: Last year I went to Texas and found myself more terrified there than in any country I have ever been to on earth. Why was this?

1. The Best Western Hotel was not in a good area. The hotel was okay but at night when we opened the windows on our 4th floor room I believe we heard people being raped or worse. People saying "NO! No! NO" and really being in distress like that.

2. the 116 degree heat index almost killed me because of having to take furosemide and potassium for edema.

3. Homeless people screaming at us and jumping on the hood of our rental car and telling us we shouldn't let our 29 year old daughter wear shorts.

4. People almost hitting my wife's car she was driving to the point where she screamed and refused to drive anymore.

So, anyway this is a part of what happened last year.

Then flash forward to last week when we were there.

First of all the temperatures stayed pretty much below 85 degrees.

2nd I learned how to time my furosemide doses at night in air conditioning so I didn't feel like I was going to die.

3rd we found a really nice hotel and didn't have to listen to people getting raped outside or worse.

4th my health was a lot better than last time.

5th My daughter's boyfriend I could see was a good choice for her.

And so on.

So, after the first experience would you expect a totally opposite and happy experience the next time you went somewhere? Likely not.

But, that is what Happened this time

What will I do next time?

I likely will go in April instead of May to Austin because locals told us it could have been 90s to 100s the week we were there and wasn't because of rain and clouds coming through a lot. So, next time we plan to go there in April or in the fall to visit our daughter and her boyfriend and other friends who have moved there from California.

But, my experience in life has always been:

For example, could you have ever believed any U.S.  president would accept a 400 million dollar luxury Jet for free from a nation, QATAR that supports Hamas and Iran?

IN fact it is recognized as the MOST luxurious plane that you could actually live in as a rich person on earth and it is a 747 Boeing plane. IN fact it has 9 showers in 9 bathrooms and at least one bidet to wash your butt.

This is pretty crazy too 

IN fact, it is possible that Trump is preparing (for an emergency) to fly this plane to another country where he cannot be extradited in case something goes wrong like what happened to the dictator Bolsonaro in Brazil who allowed all the rain forests to be cut down and burned by cattle people, farmers and miners and allowed indigenous tribes to be completely wiped out in the process by the rapers of the rain forests.

So, I'm thinking Trump is preparing his escape vehicle for when Retribution comes down on him like it is upon all Republican Congress people who cannot even survive Town hall meetings anymore without getting attacked by constituents. Trump will likely fly to a nation that he cannot be extradited from to escape the wrath of his Republican and Democratic Constituents pretty soon.

How long will it be before Trump is attacked by them too just like all the Republican Congress people who aren't safe anymore at open town hall meetings with constituents?
