love Maui! This is devastating! Kula got 32 inches of rain. Nothing
can handle that! If that were here! My old house would be under Water ,
and where I live now is at the top of the hill a block away. I would
have lake front property!
If you wonder why I can say that 1988 we had 9 inches of rain August 13! My house was a moat surrounded by by water.

have heard from friends that Maui and the Big Island were impacted
severely as well. Can’t believe mainland news programs haven’t mentioned
it at all. I watched an hour of morning news and not a word about
Hawaii.
