At that time there just wasn't enough gas to go around and you waited in lines often 2 to 5 hours to get any gas and even then often they would only sell you 5 to 10 gallons of gas per car or vehicle. So, preparing for this might be important (or something like this).
It's because it is in Iran's interests to bankrupt the rest of the world by destroying oil capacity in the middle East completely in order to make the U.S. and possibly Israel back off what they are presently doing.
However, in regard to Israel I think they are going to continue to destroy everything military or police station in IRan if they can afford to and likely won't stop ever until they are satisfied and then they might send in Ground troops like tanks to take over Tehran or something like this. Not sure because their army is very small compared to the 1 million troops in Iran's armies of various kinds.
So, the first to blink likely will have to be Trump as the whole world starves for oil and many places will have no oil at any price like Cuba before this happens worldwide.
So, basically Iran is trying to do to the whole world what Trump has done to Cuba where the CNN reporter who is living there cannot even buy enough gas to get to the CNN Offices in Havana, Cuba.
