Dreams

Time is a human construct and not a natural one. If humans weren't trained to think of time and space the way we are conditioned to from birth then we would have a completely different explanation for everything like people do and did in individual tribes around the world each with their own creation stories.

So, in understanding the both time and space are human conditioned constructs and not a natural way to perceive the universe is a good way to look at your night time dreams where dreams are not limited to any one time or any one space at all but instead could exist and do in everywhere and everywhen.

From this perspective this changes everything one thinks or does waking or sleeping.

Is it useful to think this way?

I find it useful a lot of the time because I have discovered time and space is not one of the permanent parts of the universe a soul lives in.

When we dream we are in a state of Being but not necessarily any one time or space. In dreams we enter the realm of souls.

"To Sleep perchance to Dream" was on many gravestones when people first heard this in a Shakespearean play. For example, even in the Bible we have Joseph (Old Testament) who interprets the Pharoah's dreams and becomes famous in that world as a dream interpreter.

15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”.

Joseph Interprets Pharaoh's Dreams - After two whole years, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing by the Nile, and behold, there came up out of.

So, maybe dreams are very very important (I find many of mine are) when I wake up in the middle of one and it converts to human memory cells so I can remember them for awhile especially if  I record myself speaking about the dream or write the dram down.

However, I also find once the words are down even months or years later if I see the dream again often it means and entirely different thing in my state of mind then. (Which may speak to the timeless nature of dreams to begin with).

People in today's world often underestimate their dreams because they don't understand that dreams are a window to the infinite being of God and the Universe.

The problem becomes learning to interpret dreams in a useful way. When you are on the right path with a dream you can feel it if you get what is important about the dream. You sense when you are going in the right direction, especially if it is your dream rather than someone else's.

Knowing how to interpret your dreams might for example, save your life or a member of your family one day. This important to understand too.

So, if you have a dream and you don't know what it means but you sense it could be important give a prayer like "God PLease show me what this dream means!" And if it is an important dream with God talking to you often God will show you the real meaning of the dream.

Dreams

You know how dreams can mirror reality and yet can be surrealistic?

Well. The dream I had last night was like this.

I have been sort of feeling sorry for myself because all my kids have now grown up to at least be in their freshman year of college and therefore living far away from me and my wife. My son has been visiting but he has been so exhausted from his first year of being a father that he mostly has been resting, so the road trip we planned while he was here was  about 7 or 8 hours long from about 2 pm in an afternoon to about 10 to 11 that night. So, I was feeling sort of like life wasn't taking me where I wanted to go exactly.

But, then I had this dream last night that kind of showed me the actual nature of my life and made me realize I'm probably the most free of any person I presently know.

Most people I know either through design or ignorance are a slave to their businesses, their properties, their lives, their families much more than I am. While I was visiting the big Island of Hawaii my friend said to me, "Fred. You have an amazing amount of freedom in your life." I nodded but didn't think too much of this at the time and sort of found myself defaulting to Janis Joplin saying in a song, "Freedom's just another word for nuthin left to lose" even though I don't really believe that.

Yes. I have almost complete freedom in my life now but that doesn't mean much if you aren't sharing this freedom with others I find.

So, then I had this dream last night which somehow changed everything for me. It was like God saying to me, "Create the life you want to live! I have given you complete freedom for a purpose not by accident."

In my dream I owned a very large motor home but I also owned a semi truck that I could drive along with a huge trailer that kept morphing somehow larger and larger and I also had a condo or apartment where I lived with my wife.  A friend wanted to help me get used to driving the semi truck towing the huge morphing trailer. The trailer had a bathroom in it with stairs that came down when I cranked them so I could climb up into the semi trailer. The whole thing felt very surrealistic but very oddly freeing where I saw myself in an entirely different context which might equate best to "perfect Freedom".

I was free in my dream in a way I had never thought of being during my life. I realized that I have been thinking too much like my father who owned a huge motorhome which was a Winnebago and I think it was a 35 footer the last 5 years of his life. I remembered traveling with him in it out to an Electrical  generating dam on the Colorado River and taking a tour of the generating capacity of the dam and walking down inside it with it's huge generators on "Parker Dam" on the Colorado River with my now ex-wife and I and how fun that was to travel in that motorhome.

My wife likes to travel by flying now (because of her knee replacement surgery) and then renting a car wherever we arrive and I remember paying either in Portland or Seattle 2500 dollars to rent a car one week because of the tax of $350 (airport tax) I think in Portland and thinking this was a lot of money to rent a car.

So, the idea of a motorhome towing a jeep or something like that sounds pretty good to me. I could still blog from wherever I was traveling around the lower 48 states and Alaska. I could visit my kids whenever I wanted to and even could take a dog or 2 with us.

So, I guess this dream made me stop feeling sorry for myself that all my kids have grown up now and are in college or graduated already and working with my oldest son having made me a first time grandfather.

I was feeling pretty lost since my youngest went off to college this fall because the last 40 years of my life (since 1974 now) I have been raising one or more children non-stop until my youngest went away to college this fall.

The transition has been very difficult but maybe now life is telling me to reinvent myself somehow.

So, we'll see how creative, practical and fun I can create my future to be (by God's Grace).

Dreams

Dreams. I had an interesting dream last night. I used to live in Hawaii on both the Big Island and Maui. In my dream I was running along the road to save a large group of people. The people around me realized that I was empowered and could help. So they shouted words of encouragement for me to be quick so everyone stayed alive and didn't get harmed. At one point I ran up over the top of a car that was metallic violet. Everyone seemed to understand how important this was. When I got to the place that needed the healing it was in a house. There I met my girlfriend who was kind and looked a little like me and was slim and tall like I was in my 20's and 30's and before. She hugged me and then I put up my hands and went to work. At one point golden light poured out of my hands so powerfully that I had to stand on my open hands in the air about 3 feet off the ground the golden light poured out so powerfully. Whatever the problem was it became healed and I felt at peace. All the people in the house and around it seemed happy and at peace and grateful that a healing had occurred. I gave thanks to God for being his instrument as I always do.

It was a lucid dream insofar as I had volition to do what needed to be done and the presence of mind to do it. However, at the time I didn't know it to be a dream just like most people don't realize that living on earth in some ways is like a lifetime dream.

If you have dreams where you are flying this indicates that you are psychically gifted and developing. If you can go where you wish while you are flying then you might be a candidate for soul travel if you have a good enough reason to choose to soul travel. However, deciding to soul travel is not a fluke to be taken lightly. It is very much like the responsibility of getting a driver's license and being a responsible driver. Just like when you drive a car if you aren't responsible either you or others can die. So responsibility and adult thinking is necessary for soul traveling.
