Republicans have more to lose in debt limit talks

Who loses if debt-limit talks fail? Possibly Republicans more than Obama.

The Republican position in some ways is more unrealistic even though it might be well principled. I guess it would be like telling someone to put their seat belt on while the car is heading for the center divider of a freeway. Even though the principle is good if carried through to the maximum everyone in the car dies.
