My wife bought the latest copy of Time Magazine and it was sitting on the kitchen table. Because I'm an intuitive when I looked at her photo on the cover I did a double take. What I saw in this picture I would expect to see only in someone like an East Indian Guru. I saw a fully enlightened woman and was very surprised by this. I suddenly realized just how much she is changing the world in a positive way.
As a natural progression what we all got from her husband, Barack Obama, was just as expected. What would you expect from the first black head of the Harvard Law Review, the most prestigious post of any would be lawyer in University in the United States. And what would you expect from a Barack that instead of making millions of dollars a year when to Chicago to champion the rights of poor blacks and whites. So, what we got from Barack Obama was expected. The nobleness of a genius do gooder. What we are getting reminds me of a young FDR out of 1932 and that is both what the country needs now and what was expected from him. That he will be re-elected just like FDR for me, right now is a foregone conclusion. The country needs him and unless he really screws up he'll be back for another term.
However, what is completely unexpected is Michelle Obama. Her putting her arm around the Queen of England. Do you know anyone else who could have got away with that? The Queen actually likes Michelle! What we have in Michelle Obama is amazing and hearkens back to the magic of Jackie Kennedy and John F Kennedy. This is something that people will talk about for centuries to come.
Even our last President George Bush is leaving the new president and his wife alone. He said while speaking on the same podium with Bill Clinton in Canada that he didn't like ex-presidents speaking out against him when he was president so he isn't going to speak against Obama and his wife. Good for you, George!
