One of the reasons that I quote what I feel and sense are important articles is that it allows people all over the world who read my blog to find whatever I found that seemed important regarding various subjects of mostly worldwide news that might be important in some way to almost any educated person worldwide. This saves people who have similar interests to mine worldwide the time to try to find articles on different subjects they might be interested in.
For example, if I go to CNN TV news I might find out about 1 or 2 or 3 important things within any one hour of news. But, mostly if a hurricane or fire or group of tornadoes are hitting that is all I will hear about for 1 hour or 2 or 3 days. So, if I want to know about anything else I have to go online and search for it. Other people who might be interested in what is happening around the world can save time by coming to my site. But, because I quote my sources and if possible leave a word button so they can go there and find more stories written by reporters around the world I save them time trying to find out about current events as they happen around the world. From my point of view this also shows readers the authors of various articles work so next time after finding out about various reporters at various sources they can go direct to find more there directly at that site. So, in some ways this blog site showcases news outlets online throughout the whole world so people can be better informed.
I'm mostly retired so in my spare time I often scan for useful information that I am interested in so that others (by my stats page demonstrate that they are interested in too). Stats equals "Statistics" so I see by how many people read a certain blog article what they might want to read about next and often search for more on that subject if it is available in coming days.
I'm also interested in keeping my privacy as much as possible so I don't usually go to places like Facebook at all unless I have no other choice. I have noticed if you use the SHARE function you also tend to give up your privacy unfortunately. The same is true of Tweets at Twitter.
When I grew up in the 1950s privacy was very important. Many people didn't have even phones because they didn't want to be bothered by anyone ever especially out in the country. However, electronics of all kinds have intruded into all our privacy now. Satellites starting in the 1970s could read the date on a dime on the ground. Now, they can see through walls with heat sensing devices from space and sense the shapes of human bodies through walls (at least on the top floor nearest the sky). So, if you live in a one story dwelling or top floor of literally any building they can see the heat from your body even now if they want to and your shape from space or from helicopters that are equipped with this technology. So, privacy, at least physical privacy doesn't exist unless you live underground or not on the top floor of your building anywhere on Earth. So, as the world gets smaller and smaller and people have less and less privacy and eventually they will even be able to tell what each of us is thinking every moment, keeping this kind of technology not being used against the citizens of the U.S. as well as the citizens of all countries on earth is going to be a completely monumental task and might even be impossible in the end. So what are we creating here on earth anyway? Without freedom to move and to think what we want is it actually worth being alive at all?
This is a question that will become more relevant in the centuries to come.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
