Ending Birthright citizenship is completely unrealistic. What if you are traveling abroad and you and your wife are Americans. Does this mean your child isn't an American Citizen? Where is he or she supposed to live? in the middle of the ocean on a raft?

Trump believes that "any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages, and security for all Americans," according to his plan, and is once again calling for the creation of a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, to be paid for by Mexico. The paper argues that "the Mexican government has taken the United States to the cleaners," and says if Mexico doesn't pay for the wall, the U.S. will punish the country by increasing fees on temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats and on fees at ports of entry to the U.S. from Mexico.
Trump also would triple the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers; defund sanctuary cities; detain people caught crossing the border and only release them back to their home country ("no more catch-and-release"); end birthright citizenship ("this remains the biggest magnet for illegal immigration"); require companies to hire Americans first; and enact a visa tracking system.
