Some of the Drone footage reminded me of Tianjin in some ways

Drone footage shows derelict remains of Chernobyl...

As I watched some of the footage of "Postcards from Pripyat" in the Chernobyl area of Russia that had to be permanently abandoned, it reminded me a little of the now contaminated area in Tianjin that also might have to be permanently abandoned to avoid severe loss of life. Even though one is from nuclear radiation at too high a level and the other is poisoned possibly permanently with Sodium Cyanide and other really dangerous chemicals blown about, they both are too toxic for human life likely to continue there. Also, if you look at areas near Fukushima you have some of the same kinds of things happening there as well.

This is why there aren't any working nuclear reactors in California anymore (outside of military ships and submarines docked along the coast) and Sodium Cyanide isn't allowed at all in California either because of potential loss of life on a grand scale.

Note: For some reason Yahoo doesn't like people to copy Word Buttons. So, if you get their strange page (no one else that I know of does this) you just click "here" to go to where you want to. What I'm thinking is some people are copying word buttons in a not very responsible way and this might make Yahoo liable in some way legally. So, I think maybe they created this page to reduce their liabilities. However, this really has no effect at all on you and me. end note.

Another area that had to be abandoned a few years ago now is Area 51 because too many people working there were dying from the radiation dust from nearby nuclear test sites there in Nevada and likely from other experiments over the years. They had to move to two or more new sites in Utah and Colorado because of this so Area 51 is now abandoned.
