Civilization worldwide will be defined by these times, just like civilization was also defined by how people responded to World War II, The Viet Nam War and the IRaq war and others. Every time of testing like this for civilization changes us, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.
How will ALL the changes now affect all civilization here on earth?
I can only really easily compare these times to 9-11 really. But, the difference now is millions are starving, millions are in danger of dying or already have instead of 3000 who died when the towers came down, and we all who survive this will have to live with whatever we do or don't do now. This is how all civilizations change and grow or fade out and die in embarrassment.
This is a time of testing for world civilization and unfortunately, right now it looks like it could continue like this or worse for 25 to 50 years barring some unexpected event or events.
However, I hope I'm wrong about all this.
