One Biohacker's thoughts at a biohacker conference...
First of all, it was like reading someone who is texting rather than talking to me. It was like being inside someone's head where I wasn't really involved in the conversation like many authors like to do.
However, it is about the new tech speak that we often deal with on Texting on our phones. Some of you might still not text for one reason or another. But, if you have children between the ages of 5 and 40 often if you don't text with them you cannot find them or get in touch with them at all. Because this is "Communication on their real time so you don't interrupt what they are doing unless it is an absolute emergency". And as a father I have had to get used to this with all my children. So, now even my wife and I text if she isn't driving at the time. If she is driving she often calls me about every 2 to 4 hours during the day with "Did you take your heart medicine on time?" And can I bounce some strategic ideas off you?" etc. etc. etc.(but of course she has a hands free phone in her Lexus so she can send and receive calls while driving legally).
However, with my kids texting is often the only way I can get communication with them in their busy or not so busy lives.
So, reading this article was like listening to someone texting who has been to college and likely has at least a Bachelor of Science degree in something or more.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
