Disturbing news from college campuses

When I heard this story though it sounded familiar to stories I have heard throughout my life from people I met, there is a new twist to this story.

A boy and a girl who were freshman at a college met and liked each other. Then later they found themselves at the same party and because both were drinking they started to make out with each other but did not have sex then. Later the girl left and went somewhere else got even more stoned and threw up in the bathroom and eventually returned to where the boy was and made love to him for the first time in her life.

Later a teacher talked to her about this incident and convinced her she had been raped even though she was stoned at the time and went to visit this boy with the intention of making love with him.

So, after that fact, this teacher was trying to convince the girl that she had been raped even though it was her choice to return to the boy stoned out of her mind and continue where they had left off. She never told the boy "No" and likely he didn't fully understand at the time how "out of it" she was because he wasn't there when it happened.

More and more this is the story happening over and over again where there is no "NO" or "Stop" at all.

I don't consider this rape if the boy didn't intoxicate her himself and might not have known what she had done while she was gone somewhere else.

If you are a boy in your dorm room and a woman you know and was kissing you a few hours ago returns and starts making out with you again what are you supposed to think?

Yes. It is true they both are freshmen so likely are between 18 and 19 years old. But, is the girl not responsible for not saying no or even indicating that she is stoned out of her mind right then?

Who is supposed to know what when?

This is a problem now for all college campuses and all teenagers to about age 30 when both boys and girls are supposed to be more responsible than these two were in this situation.
