If there is one thing that I'm sure of in my life it is that everyone would be better off following their instincts. However, common sense might be of equal value in all of this. Intelligence is worse than useless and even dangerous if a person doesn't have common sense first and often you will find intelligent people dead before their time because they didn't listen to their instincts and common sense when it would have saved their lives.
I remember growing up in the 1950s when literally everyone kept telling kids that they knew better than we did. Often they were wrong. Often adults are so full of themselves while being insecure that they mislead children to their harm or even their deaths without realizing what they are doing.
So, as soon as you can get in touch with your instincts because Instincts and common sense is what actually keeps people alive. So many many times in my life people in authority told me to do something that likely would have cost me my life or my sanity. Follow your own instincts if you want to survive your life and still be alive in your 60s and 70s.
You can APPEAR to do what people want you to without actually doing it when you know for sure something is wrong. Remember, stay alive, if something doesn't seem right wherever you are don't be there because likely something is going to happen you might not survive.
Listening to one's instincts is how people not only survive but become successful in life as well in all things.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
