Here's How Donald Trump Justified Killing ...

  1. Here's the problem with thinking this way. There are police actions and then there are wars. Wars are a completely different thing. For example, ISIS is fighting us like it's a war. However, we have been fighting ISIS as if it is a police action. In reality the Korean War, the Viet Nam War, Desert Storm, the Iraq War, and the Afghanistan war have all been police actions by the U.S. and NATO.

If we take it to Trump's level then this is a war we are fighting against ISIS. But that doesn't make any sense for a country of 300 plus million people to be fighting a war with about 200,000 people without even an air force or Navy!

So, what he's saying here doesn't make any sense to me. It would be dishonorable for a nation as large and as powerful as we are to start killing the families of anyone attacking us. That's just crazy!

This in reality is a police action and likely the U.S. will NEVER be involved in another actual war ever again. Because if we were in a war we would end the Earth with Nukes. That would be a WAR the U.S. was in at this point.

So, realistically the last real war we were in was World War II and in that war (because it was actually a war and not a police action) we as Americans did really unthinkable things like people do in wars like Nuke Hiroshima and Nagasaki to save American lives. We also firebombed most big cities in Japan which killed hundreds of thousands of civilians if not millions near the end of the war. We also firebombed Dresden in Germany which killed most people there too. So, in a real war millions and millions of people die if the U.S. is involved. The only problem is: "IF we are in another actual war (the U.S.) the earth and all upon it will die!" 100 million people died in World War II. Only about 900,000 mostly U.S. civilians died in World War II.

The point being Trump is making this a war against all Muslims by his stance. That is ridiculous to be making war on 1.6 billion people who are Muslims. It would be as ridiculous as someone making war on all Christians who are 2.5 billion people on earth, with the U.S. as likely the most populous Christian nation on earth.

During Tuesday's Republican debate, GOP frontrunner and real estate mogul Donald Trump continued to make clear that, if elected president, his policies would be not only discriminatory but also potentially deadly for innocent civilians.
Trump fielded a question from a college student who brought up earlier statements that the candidate made suggesting that the way to attack ISIS, the terrorist group behind the recent deadly attacks in Paris, was to kill the families of ISIS members. "How would intentionally killing innocent civilians set us apart from ISIS?" the student asked.
Trump didn't back down from his earlier statements, saying, "We have to be much tougher and much stronger than we've been."

Bringing up the recent alleged terrorist attacks in San Bernardino, California, Trump seemed to imply that family members were to blame for the actions of their relatives. "You look at the attack in California the other day," Trump said. "Numerous people, including the mother, that knew what was going on. They saw a pipe bomb sitting all over the floor. They saw ammunition all over the place. They knew exactly what was going on."
Then Trump left no doubts about how, exactly, he would treat anyone with familial connections to a potential terrorist, "I would be very, very firm with families. Frankly, that will make people think because they may not care much about their lives. But they do care, believe it or not, about their families' lives."
