Over 90% of a human's energy at present (when digesting food) Goes into digesting food. (which is why we often feel a little lethargic after a big meal.
If people gave up eating and instead wore solar cell covered clothing and this clothing had also batteries inside for storing all the solar energy, this energy (as needed) could be transmitted to the nerves and muscles and neurons within a human body (theoretically) in place of food which is an Electro-chemical reaction which creates energy through bio-electricity in the body. So, by bypassing food as an electro-chemical reaction and replacing this with electricity at the same voltage as needed by nerves, muscles and neurons one replaces the food electo-chemical need for humans to survive.
However, in this model people would still need to drink water to hydrate their bodies.
There may be other elements that might need to be considered in this technological innovation to not need to eat food or grow food anymore here on earth for all humans wishing to do this.
So, such people might call themselves "Sun Fed".
In this way you bypass organic photosynthesis for technological photosynthesis direct from the sun.
For example, once this was possible a person could go on a sun diet for awhile and stop eating for 1 month, or 6 months as a type of Sun Fast.
However, not eating anything for more than one week (I have gone 7 days) might be a problem for some people. (Even though I have a friend who often did a 40 day water fast each year for many years and still seems healthy and physically okay at age 72.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
