Why is Russia using it's most advanced weaponry in Syria?

This of course has to be my opinion because Russia is not broadcasting to the world: Why.

1. Syria has belonged (Cold War style) to Russia and before that the Soviet Union since at least 1980. Russia also sees Iran as belonging to Russia also.

So, what is being said quite clearly is: "Hey. The Soviet Union is gone but Russia is still here and we still own these two countries just like the Soviet Union did.

2. This show of force of ultimate ground and air weapons tells the whole world: "Russia is still here. We are a force still to be reckoned with. Don't underestimate us at your peril!"

3. Russia's government (at least 50% of the programs of Russia run on oil) and especially any food programs for poorer people in Russia run on oil. So, low oil prices are literally killing the poor in Russia right now, likely older people on fixed incomes the most.

So, these weapons are a threat to countries like Saudi Arabia who is lowering the price of oil trying to survive as a government while being attacked by Iranian Houthis in Yemen.

4. So, Russia is threatening any Middle East Sunni Oil countries like Saudi Arabia who is driving down the price of oil now to the mid $30s per barrel at this point which Russia cannot economically survive for very long.

5. It is possible that Russia would attack Saudi Arabia with these weapons if and when these oil prices start to harm Russia beyond a certain point.

6. So, the economic sanction war against Russia by NATO nations may backfire and end Saudi Arabian dominance in Oil if and when Russia turns their advanced weapons on Saudi Arabia in the near or far future.

7. If this happened I would expect all hell to break loose on various levels around the world and this likely would be called "The Oil World War" which might be beginning now.

So, if Russia attacks Saudi Oil fields with Cruise missiles at some point then expect the price of oil to return to 150 dollars a barrel or up to 300 dollars a barrel worldwide.

And if this happens expect 50% of the governments on earth to cease to exist (if this went on 5 years or more) when they could no longer feed their peoples. Because it takes tractors to till and harvest most fields. It takes energy to pump water to those fields. It takes trucks to haul the produce to market.

And at 300 dollars a barrel for 5 years, people would starve and up to 50% of governments on earth would likely collapse caused directly by uprisings of starving people.

And likely at that point the U.S. and Europe couldn't do much to stop this mass chaos worldwide. And it would likely be worldwide. Even richer countries governments would not collapse but would be in recessions or outright depressions at that point.

So, how does the world prepare for this potential catastrophe? Countries who have prepared by going solar and wind and wave and geothermal will come out of this the best on the other side.

Being completely dependent upon oil is to be completely destroyed by oil if and when this potential oil scenario happens.

For every action there is an opposite but equal reaction.

So, when oil is held artificially low because of the present wars in the middle east at some point they are going to recover but the longer this takes the less world oil infrastructure will be there to take up the slack. Oil companies, drillers and shale miners are going bankrupt in droves right now.

The longer it takes for the price of oil to recover the more likely the scenario I'm outlining here actually is going to happen.

So, if you are prepared with solar or wind or wave or geothermal you likely will be okay.

If you have solar on your roof in an emergency you won't need oil at all to stay financially solvent because you can charge your electric car from your roof. You won't have to buy gas or diesel at all.

Also, to prepare for all this having solar cells built into the roof of your car like many Teslas do is a good idea too. For example, your car in a sunny area could theoretically power both itself and your home in an emergency worldwide. I envision electric cars eventually completely covered with solar cells even in their windows with new see through solar technology world wide.
