What if China keeps building and arming islands all the way to Hawaii?

I got to thinking last night about: "What if China keeps building islands and putting missiles on them all the way to Hawaii or mainland U.S.?"

All they would have to do is to look for where the distance between the ocean and the sea floor is the least and start scooping up coral reefs like they are doing now. Since they obviously could care less whether 4000 people a day are dying in Beijing from air pollution they also don't care if they are destroying coral reefs in the Pacific Ocean either to build islands to put ground to air missiles on.

At some point they have to be stopped by a worldwide coalition possibly through the United Nations. Whether this is through diplomacy or whether this is through force or both is debatable at present.
