What may also be happening regarding the Apple issue with the government is that the U.S. government might have realized there is no way present governmental systems on earth can survive a technological singularity.

If the U.S. government understands this one point, then AI likely will be gone from earth soon along with the Internet.

IS this true?

I don't know.

I don't have computers smarter than people are.

But, the U.S. government definitely does.

So, all you would have to do is to design a scenario and plot it out with software.

At that point you would know if the U.S. or any government would survive this.

Also, you would also know if any humans or animals survived it too.

So, what the government might be doing is ending the Internet starting with all Smartphones if they realized the U.S. government and human beings won't survive a peak Technological Singularity.
