So, it is at this point where praying for your loved ones is very important so they can go through this transition because it is a little like birth itself when a baby is delivered from the mother's womb and it has to face breathing air and sometimes getting spanked to remove the blockages to breathing in their mouths and breathing passages. It is quite a change quite an adjustment and some people who have prepared for death or who are intuitive like me just understand the whole process better than others who don't believe in anything at all.
Then there are people who don't believe in God that believe they are only their bodies and sometimes they are so convinced of this that you can see their souls like grey blobs in graveyards just hanging there near their graves because no matter what angels tell them they refuse to believe in an afterlife after they are dead so they continue to believe they are dead when their body is buried as well for a long time. Some like this become ghosts who haunt people by the way because they are angry they are dead.
But, people who lived their lives believing in an afterlife tend mostly to have behaved better towards other people because they knew what was coming. So, they were kinder to all beings because they knew they might have to deal with these same beings after they were dead and didn't want to be victims of these other beings on the other side.
Then there are people who welcome angels with open arms and have had dialogs with them their whole lives like I have. It doesn't mean going to the other side is a bed of roses, it just means that they have a relationship with God and Angels and so know more what to do to "go to a heaven realm" when they get out of their bodies for the last time.
Even though it is Hollywoodized to the max a good representation of what actually happens a lot is the movie "Ghost" with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze.
- Cast/crew information with a synopsis of the film, user comments and ratings, with recommendations. So, if you want to know kind of what happens to many people who die young for one reason or another this kind of explains it a lot.
Later: I got to thinking about this more and saying that death is like birth is very appropriate in that you leave your body the way you were once born from your mother's body. So, death is also birth in this sense. So, this is a much better way to see it rather than death.
It's sort of like if we called birth death instead of birth.
So, maybe calling death a birth might be more useful in the truth of life. It's sort of like we are all in the womb of earth here and then we are born into a better life if we are kind to the beings here in the womb of earth.
