Trump who obviously has the ethics and morals of a con man, might not know the answer to this question.
But, you and I do.
The reason we cannot use nukes is precedence.
It is for the same reason if you have a knife you don't walk outside and start stabbing people with it.
It is because if you do this it will wind up in the news and other people "copy cats" will start stabbing people with their knives too. Imagine if everyone got their knives out and stabbed someone. There wouldn't be ANYONE left alive on earth.
The exact same thing is true of nuclear weapons.
Only you don't need that many nuclear weapons to end the earth or it's atmosphere or for millions and millions or even billions of people to die or to even create the end of earth and all life upon it.
It is about precedence.
And if you open that door to nukes ever again then earth and all life upon it is gone.
So, nukes are suicidal to actually use.
However, the biggest powers on earth have them which is why we have terrorism on earth and likely always will have because big wars cannot happen anymore because of nukes.
Everyone knows now that World War III is only the name of the war than ends ALL LIFE ON EARTH PERMANENTLY!
