Summer Solstice on Mt. Shasta

People literally came here from all over the world for Summer Solstice. When my friend and I wanted to drive into the dirt road at 7 mile curve on Everitt Memorial highway on Mt. Shasta we found our way mostly blocked by a huge tourist bus with the driver waiting patiently for all the tourists from around the world to return from their walk down the road to what is called "The Mt. Shasta Vortex on that dirt road. We drove to the left of the bus and there was just enough room to fit my 4 wheel drive. We met the people on the road that told us (they didn't want to speak) so I guess they were on a silence fast on the mountain. The lady sounded like she had a French Accent (likely Parisian French not Quebec French).

My friend later talked with the bus driver on the way out. Meantime we drove over to McGinnis Springs where my friend and I had done our first Sweat with a Native American Medicine man we both had studied with in the early 1980s McGinnis Springs was very green and amazing in the start of Alpine spring which is usually in June most years. There were patches of snow we saw along the road still from the heavy snows even into May this year.

After we drove out to Everitt Memorial Highway we headed up to Bunny Flat but there were too many people there to even park pretty much for Summer Solstice from around the world so we headed down to Upper Sand Flats Road. We found that the upper road was still blocked by snow and so we thought we would try lower Sand Flats Road because it usually melts out first. But, there we found car after car parked along this road to the point of the ridiculous with even motor homes there too. So, I finally backed out of there because it wasn't getting us anywhere because so man people were up there to pray on the mountain for Summer Solstice.

So, we were grateful for our positive experience at McGinnis Springs and driving over through Mud Creek Canyon the day before from Old McCloud Road on 4 wheel drive roads.

You can tell when a lot of people are very worried about the world because they show up on Mt. Shasta to pray during Summer Solstice because the snow is beginning to melt and you can begin to really enjoy the mountain without Snow gear below about 6000 feet elevation.

There was a feeling among these people that they were all preparing to die in some ways. However, as an intuitive I don't think it will come to that (for most people).

By God's Grace
