This is likely going to lose Trump the election (if he allows the election to happen that is).
I have NO CONFIDENCE that Trump won't use emergency powers in the National emergency to postpone (temporarily or permanently) the elections.
However, as Republicans all start to lose their relatives specifically because of Trump's complete incompetence in this coronavirus situation their attitude towards him will change a lot if they are at all realistic. If not, this all will get much much worse than anyone has ever seen in the U.S. since the Civil War.
