Where I have noticed this so far is when I get my mail from the mailbox. There are several ways to protect yourself.
First one, wear gloves. But, I'm thinking gloves aren't very good because you can only use them once and they might give you unrealistic feelings of safety when you are really not necessarily safe using gloves. Better for paper to just touch the paper from your mailbox and let it sit around for 24 hours so any coronavirus on it dies. Then after 24 hours read your mail or your magazines.
For example, today I got my next issue of Time Magazine and wanted to read it but realized I might not remember to wash my hands after reading it so just set it aside for 24 hours to read later in case someone else read it on it's way to me who was exposed to coronavirus.
So yes, you need to protect yourself in all sorts of ways like this if you are serious about trying to stay well until a vaccine is developed.
But, at least still in California I can hike with my dog in the woods and sometimes my wife comes too like to the beach with our puppy 2 days ago on an amazingly low tide but an extremely beautiful sunny day. I even took my crocs off and went barefoot on the beach then while the puppy (our corgi 4 months old) had her very first experience with a beach which was great.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
