I was talking with my son tonight and he was saying he was feeling like he had already had coronavirus 2 months ago. I told him that that's quite possible because patient zero in Wuhan was at least back as far as November 17th 2019. So, he since he is a trained nurse with a BS in Nursing was pretty sure he had had coronavirus at least 2 months ago. He said it was very very hard to get rid of and sometimes he still has the cough this much later. Other friends have described symptoms of not being able to breathe at night and high fevers and are still trying to get over it several weeks later. Luckily, all my friends have survived this so far.
However, here is my theory. If patient zero was November 17 then it is quite possible that someone could have been infected and come to the U.S. after visited relatives in Wuhan or Wuhan residents came and visited the U.S. in Washington or New York which would make sense especially in regard to New York numbers. So, imagine it has actually already been here since say early December which is what I think has actually happened already which is why it is so bad in Italy and now in the U.S. now we are testing. So, by now 50 million people or more likely are carriers at this point.
So, my thought is that this virus has been making the rounds of Europe and the U.S. since December already, likely sometime between December 1st and Christmas 2019.
According to the article I read the best guess by tracking back through patient infections led to the zero patient date of November 17th 2019. This was research done by the Chinese Government.
