This is more like "The Great Depression" than World War II

And I  think this might be the long term effects of what the world is dealing with now. I just listened to a U.S. Congressman talk about this. And he was asked whether the U.S. could afford to address this kind problem long term. He said, "That isn't what is important to think about now. What is important is we cannot not do what we are doing right now. Just like after World war II we will have to deal with the aftermath just like we dealt with the end of World War II then." The previous was paraphrased of course from CNN.

Here's the real problem. If you let people die without medical care then the foundations of civilization are lost and you are going to have riots in the streets and no government could be sustained without enough trust of the people and would be overthrown worldwide.

With no governments functional worldwide if this happened you would only have complete chaos. That's why what is being done presently is being done worldwide.
