People say everything is about intelligence and to some degree that's true.
What I personally have found in life is everything is about timing.
So, learning to be in the exact right place at the right time is what Jesus and Buddha did and one reason
why people still follow their paths now several thousand years later.
I call it sometimes the "Science of the Flow". If you have ever been a surfer you might understand this somewhat because you have to feel the waves and the timing of the sets and the way the sets and waves move in order to be successful in getting the ride you want on the waves.
But, everything is like this. Relationships are like this too. It's not really what you say but the timing of when and how you say it.
I remember believing growing up that I was going to marry this one girl from church that I even dated for a couple of years from age 17 to 19 (my ages). But, because she was about a year older than me and because women naturally tend to be about 3 years more mature than men at the same age I never grew up fast enough to marry this girl so she married someone else.
This was when I started to realize it was all about timing and if you don't get the timing right in life absolutely nothing is going to happen for you.
So, if life is about intelligence it is about the intelligence to know that life is about timing more than anything else.
Opportunities whether they are relationships or jobs or locations to live all are around the timing of things in your life. And how do you get in the right timing?
You feel it in your bones and move when you sense the timing is just right. Otherwise, sometimes nothing will happen right in your life no matter what you do. It's all about the timing. So, you sense the opportunities and where you should be in life when. And then things start to happen in your life in a really positive way.

I can't guarantee that this will work for everyone but it worked for me in my life enough times so that I have had a pretty wonderful life so far.
