I'm thinking that the most adaptable people will be the ones that survive. It won't necessarily be the most traditional people simply because being traditional often makes people not be able to adapt like they might need to worldwide.
As crises arise unexpectedly, it is often those under 30 years of age who will survive various kinds of calamities like floods, droughts, hurricanes, earthquakes and pandemics and wars and conflicts around the world simply because often it becomes necessary to leave one locality and to go to another to survive all these things.
As we watch extreme weather changes, being able to be mobile and going somewhere less problematic temporarily or permanently also will be important.
