The U.S. is still losing an average of 343 people a day to coronavirus

This is one reason why I'm still cautious though often optimistic these days. I have resumed traveling a lot and staying in hotels (but I always wear a mask in indoor hallways of hotels still). I still don't go into movie theaters or eat inside restaurants that are enclosed.

People can do whatever they want to worldwide at this point. However, the fact that we still are losing 343 people per day means every 10 days we are losing 3,430 people. So, 3 times that is 10,290 per month and 12 times that is: 123,480 people per year at that rate too.

So, to underestimate how many are still dying is to be

foolish. That is how many are dying at the present rate

here in the U.S. per year.

In other words we are presently losing more people per year

(at this rate) than we did during the Viet Nam War which was

around 50,000. So, if this rate keeps up in the next year

we will have lost 2 1/2 times the number of soldiers that

died in Viet Nam from Coronavirus from now on.
