SALINAS, Calif. —
A large Comcast Xfinity internet outage is affecting the Central Coast.
The outage appeared to strike around 10:40 a.m., according to downdetector.com.

According to a spokesperson with Comcast, a vehicle in Salinas hit a structure that was carrying their fiber cables. Crews have responded but no estimated time of repair has been given.
This comes after a similar outage left the Central Coast Comcast customer's without internet for several hours over the weekend.
