Right now, the 10 most watched titles on Netflix are an eclectic mix of originals, reality shows, sitcoms, and documentaries. You’ve probably heard of popular series like You and Squid Game, so their ranking on the Top 10 list today won’t surprise you.
But the Netflix Top 10 feature also reliably surfaces trending titles before the hype hits. Keep an eye on today’s Top 10 most popular movies and shows. They’re popular for a reason, and whether you’re looking for a mind-numbing escape or an educational deep-dive, you’ll probably find your next favorite binge through this list. We’ve reviewed today’s Top 10 so you can choose what to watch on Netflix wisely.
'Love Hard'

Netflix original Christmas rom-com Love Hard follows Natalie (Nina Dobrev), a singleton with an advice column about online dating. Using an app akin to Tinder, she meets who she thinks could be the one: Josh. But when she goes to meet him in person, Natalie realizes she’s been catfished!

'Big Mouth'

Big Mouth just debuted Season 5 on Netflix and this time it’s getting more “”raunchy”” than ever before. The often gross, sexually deviant, and bizarrely sweet puberty comedy from Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg (voiced by John Mulaney) promises to deliver one of its best seasons yet. The fourth season of the animated series will introduce two new characters, Leah’s boyfriend Val Bilzerian (Mark Duplass) and Cum Kumail (Kumail Nanjiani).

'The Harder They Fall'

The Harder They Fall follows a vengeful Nat Love (Jonathan Majors), who rallies his gang of outlaws to catch and kill Rufus Buck (Idris Elba), the man who killed his parents. The western also stars Regina King, Zazie Beetz, and LaKeith Stanfield.
“As a modern revival Western, The Harder They Fall is quite enjoyable,” writes Decider’s John Serba. “It has style from here to way over yonder, and trust me, that’s a long way. Sure, it wears its influences on its Stetson, but it showcases inspired direction and performances.”

'Narcos: Mexico'

With Gallardo imprisoned, it’s every cartel for itself. That was the state of the world when the real Amado Carrillo Fuentes murdered his associates and took over the Juárez Cartel. It’s been estimated that over the course of his career, Fuentes made over $25 billion, making him one of the most powerful and wealthiest drug lords in Mexican history. If there was ever a way to end this saga, this is it.
'You'

After You Season 2’s shocking twist ending, the series returns with Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti’s characters who are, in this author’s humble opinion, the weirdest-yet-most-perfect couple ever. But settling down with his perfect counterpart might not be enough for Joe (Badgley) to give up his predilections so soon, and Love (Pedretti) might do just about anything to keep him in her life. So, what happens when two killers sort of love each other and have a baby?

'Catching Killers'

Catching Killers is a true crime docuseries that examines how some of the biggest serial killers were tracked down and caught. The show takes a deeper look at the catching of the Green River Killer, the Aileen Wuornos case, and the Happy Face Killer case.
“This is a weird thing to say about a show involving serial killers, but Catching Killers is a light watch, akin to what you might see on Dateline, 48 Hours or cable true crime shows,” writes Decider’s Joel Keller. “There’s just enough information to make the show entertaining, but there’s no depth to any of the stories.”

'Squid Game'

In this Netflix original game show, a group of people with money troubles play kids’ games for a boatload of money, but with deadly consequences for those who lose.

'Cocomelon'

Cocomelon, a children’s YouTube channel, has made its way to Netflix. The full first season of the preschool programming is now available to stream, which means parents now have three hour-long episodes to entertain their kids and teach them new skills. Cocomelon isn’t all fun and games — it also educates children on numbers, letters and animals, using nursery rhymes and song to teach each lesson.
'21 Jump Street'

21 Jump Street stars duo Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as two rookie cops sent to go undercover at a high school. They’ll have to force their way into the classrooms and play like kids if they want to fit in with the crowd.
'Army of Thieves'

Army of Thieves is a prequel to Zack Snyder’s recent zombie flick at Netflix, Army of the Dead. The new movie follows a mysterious woman who recruits a whip-smart bank teller to help her crack safes across Europe.
To its credit, Army of Thieves doesn’t take itself seriously, although it never inspires any big laughs, is frequently enamored with its own quasi-cleverness and is littered with too many annoying self-referential nods,” writes Decider’s John Serba. “We get it — the movie knows it’s a movie.”
