It stayed like this for several hours and finally around 11:30 pm the cable channels and Wifi came back on during the storm. Don't know if it will stay back on or not. So far, no power outages at least where we live. However, they are very worried about Water and Mud Slides in the Santa Cruz Mountains especially in the burn areas where the fires were.
They expect about 2 1/2 inches of rain within a few hours which could be a disaster for anyone just below the burn areas that get hit with that much rain that fast. Where we are there are no obvious problems yet except the cable going out and the wifi going out for a few hours until they were able to fix it. Likely stuff went down in the Santa Cruz mountains from 45 mile per hour gusts of wind that are expected to bring trees down in some areas as well.
