Understanding parents stance on vaccinating children 5 to 11

After thinking about it a little today I get why parents are mostly hesitant to vaccinate their kids. It's because so few have either Got covid and so very few that have died.

So, it's sort of like the sign you might see in a car garage that mechanics might hang there of "If it ain't broke don't fix it" like that. In other words; "If more kids were getting covid and dying we would vaccinate more kids.

However, if children carry covid to their aunts and uncles or parents or grandparents or friends they could carry it and cause the deaths of relatives and friends and this would be another way to look at it.
