When times are really tough to survive like now on earth people either change their behaviors dramatically or they are soon gone too.
I have always been a natural survivor. In other words I could look forward in time and see what would keep me alive and what might kill me or maim me. Some people aren't like this at all though. So, though they might be geniuses they often have no common sense.
When I look at why I have never had a serious accident in a car or truck where someone had to go to the hospital, I can tell you why this is.
First, I rode my bicycle a lot from ages 5 through high school and I had many bicycle accidents, but I was always able to keep all my fingers and toes and eyes intact in these accidents. But, it's painful to crash or run into a car like I did at 9 on a bicycle and break my brand new two from teeth on top in half too. Then I had to have a snagglepuss smile for the next 6 years until my teeth stopped growing and I could have them capped. Then suddenly girls were interested in me because I was now tall and handsome and slim and well mannered and my teeth weren't broken off anymore.
So, why have I been a good driver in a car and not had serious accidents where anyone had to go to the hospital?
Because all the painful crashes on bicycles I had between ages 5 and through high school made me more cautious than someone who hadn't done all that.
So, the very things that injured and almost killed me riding a bicycle growing up is why my record regarding accidents is so good even though I have now driven millions of miles since I started driving cars, and trucks and motorcycles.
So, from my point of view it is the pain we experience the most that also can teach us how to survive almost anything in life.
Because this was my experience too.
