When you try to compare a XI Dictatorship to a Biden Presidency I suppose if you were a Dictator like Xi or Putin then you might think that anything less than totalitarian rule is weakness. However, if you look at World War II and World war I our democracy was our strength. IT takes a democracy more time to make good decisions but they tend to make better ones than dictatorships do in the long run and people in a democracy are generally much much happier than people in ANY Dictatorship like in China or Russia.
The Russian and Chinese people are very unhappy with Putin and Xi and thousands die each year trying to change both governments.
The difference here in the U.S. is we don't have thousands of Americans trying to end democracy but still maybe hundreds die trying to create a dictatorship here in the U.S. secretly every year instead.
So, the most dangerous threat to democracy is from within the democracy itself not from without. Trump has been the biggest threat to American Democracy since President Andrew Johnson who tried to reintroduce slavery after Lincoln was assassinated likely with Johnson's complicity.
