Writing when you want to write but it just doesn't work is hard. I find it hard to be critical of what I write. But, sometimes things just aren't working and you find yourself trying to do something.

It's sort of like relationships with significant others in your life. Often when you are young you try to force these relationships to work when they cannot.

So, for me, writing is a lot like a sign I have seen often where they work on cars during my life which is:

"IF it ain't broke don't fix it".

I think the same can be said of relationships and when you are trying to write something good.

But, when it doesn't work nothing you can do will fix it. This also seems to be true.
