The clouds came back in so people were leaving the beach by 5 pm today

 It was down to 60 degrees again with a pretty good wind but not enough wind to blow the sand around. I saw some sandpipers and some purple flowers growing next to rocks in the sand. I wondered how some plants can grow even in beach sand? Our dog walked along with me but because of the cold wind where I needed to put on my jackets hood to keep my neck from getting stiff in the cold moist foggy wind but I stayed toasty warm with my hooded jacket keeping me warm. I wore shorts so there is less chance of water wetting my pant legs and went barefoot into about 8 to 10 inches of wave water hitting the shore. I saw some Sand pipers today ( a type of shore bird on the oceans).
