a Chain Reaction of events is starting to close down some fast food restaurants nationwide

I think the beginning was Covid in this process starting to end fast food restaurants here in the U.S. and there may be no end to it with the prices of food items (the cost of them rising so quickly) because of Covid combined with Global Climate changes.

Then because fast food restaurants couldn't hire enough people they were forced to raise their wages. for example, here in California it isn't unusual to pay fast food workers 20 dollars and hour to start.

So, when you do this food becomes too expensive for the average person even at a fast food restaurant and these fast food outlets start to go out of business one by one across the U.S. 

I think even McDonalds might not be here at all within 10 years unless they change their model to something else.
