What I mean by this statement is that we all have to live with the choices we make and so when we make bad ones often these choices are the end of us.
So, thinking carefully before making choices that affect the lives of other people (not just our own) will help to keep us alive long term.
The other thing that I personally do is that I pray a lot. IN other words I invoke God and Angels into my life and the lives of everyone I know, especially my family and friends. This helps keep them alive and safe too.
My wife bought a blanket for the living room to put over our legs in the winter that says something like:
"Your Grandmother's prayers are still protecting you with God and Angels protecting you always."
Likewise, this Grandfather's prayers are protecting all the people in my life too.
