How do you develop compassion for all life in the Universe since Kindness aids in Longevity and happiness?

When Tibetan Monks learn compassion they are taught that all living creatures (including insects or other bugs) were once their mothers. So, it is in learning to be kind to all your mothers that you learn kindness.

However, for the rest of us who might not think this way I find developing kindness is much harder.

However, here is one way I create kindness subconsciously in my life all the time. It's my favorite Buddhist Prayer: I have given this prayer millions of times since 1980 quietly thinking this as a prayer in my mind and sometimes out loud. I often wake up in the morning repeating this over and over in my dreams. This is a wonderful meditation which heals your soul at a very deep level in the moment and over many years of doing this.

For me, it isn't just a prayer it is what I experience for all beings in the universe all the time. So, experiencing all beings attaining bliss and the cause of bliss is an ongoing happy and grateful moment or millions of moments all together ongoing forever.
