Should Schumer and other Senators have voted against Trump's bill in the Senate?

It's really very debatable on many different levels

For Democrats it would have been damned if they do and damned if they don't.

I understand Schumer's logic this way.

If Democrats voted against the resolution it likely would have cost hundreds of thousands of Government job and ruined (for sure) millions of lives (their dependents) and relatives here in the U.S.

However, it's also true that voting for this bill ONLY empowers Trump to do even more damage to the Government. This is true too.

However, I think the Republicans PLANNED for the Democrats to vote against keeping the government open so they could blame Democrats for whatever happened next (that really wouldn't be their fault at all).

So, you can see Democrats were damned if they voted for this bill and damned if they didn't vote for this bill.

So, now what do you have?

An Empowered Trump and Musk to do even more damage to the government. However, NOW they have only themselves to blame because they have to own it because they cannot usefully blame democrats for any of this.

What do you think?

I think Schumer just saved millions of people's jobs (at least for now) in the government and prevented thousands to millions to become homeless or worse or bankrupt at least for now.

Is this a useful Solution to the problem? NO. IT isn't.

However, likely voting against Trump's bill likely would have had worse consequences than any  of you or even I could ever imagined too.

Because I think Republicans were trying to trick Democrats to vote against this bill so they could blame them which now throws off the blame game so Republicans will have ONLY THEMSELVES TO BLAME FOR EVERYTHING NOW.

BECAUSE THEY OWN EVERY PROBLEM THEY HAVE CREATED AND CAN BLAME NONE OF IT ON THE DEMOCRATS (AT LEAST AT THIS POINT).
