The Spanish Flu was notorious for striking quickly, often killing otherwise healthy adults within hours or days due to a cytokine storm—an overreaction of the immune system.

I think if Bird Flu gravitates to humans like it did through Swine in the U.S.  in 1918 to 1920  and then spread around the world from Swine in the Eastern portion of the U.S. then we need to worry about it killing people in one day or several days through cytokine storms within the body.

So, when this begins (if it begins) from present bird flu maybe we should watch chickens and pigs very carefully now. Because the Spanish Flu is basically the same virus as the bird flu right now killing wild birds and chickens by the millions all over the U.S.

Because when and (IF) it starts people will be dropping like flies throughout the U.S. and around the world.

and with RFK Junior as Secretary of Health "God Help US" because he doesn't believe in vaccines that much.

50 million or more people died of the Spanish Flu from 1918 to 1920 around the world and likely many more would die if it gets air born today as well.

It's one reason why at 76 almost 77 I still wear a mask inside of any public place I go inside of including restaurants, Supermarkets, Gas Stations etc. and I have only been to one movie in a theater in Austin, Texas with our daughter and my wife since 2019 as a precaution.

I still got covid along with my wife in November 2024 and we both were pretty dysfunctional at our age for the month of November (but we survived).

So, even though my wife and I avoided Covid from 2020 to the present we still got it in November 2024 for a month.
